Make Christmas complete with a panto

The drive-in panto show will attract families around Northern Ireland and help keep the great yearly tradition alive in our festive calendars.

Following on from last year’s hugely successful pantomime, Cre8 Theatre Ltd proudly present Jack and the Beanstalk: The Live Stream Panto in association with Let’s Go Hydro.

This is the original rags-to-riches story with a modern Christmassy twist and a sprinkling of Cre8 Theatre magic. Park up at Let’s Go Hydro’s drive-in cinema with your dancing shoes firmly on and your biggest and best boo’s for the mean old giant. Have a hoot with Dame Ms. Pinch, dance with Daisy Cow and climb the beanstalk with Great Craic Jack.

Audience members will have their tickets scanned through their car windows upon arrival at the outdoor venue. Cars will then be parked, and audience members will watch the show from inside their vehicles, picking up sound from the performance via their car radios.

Toilet facilities and food and drink from Pizza Boutique will be available on site but social distancing measures will be in place.

Sinead Eastwood, Head of Marketing and Events at Let’s Go Hydro Resort said; “Cre8 Theatre have been rehearsing for months and have adapted their production by recording a staged show as a film for us to stream on our 10-metres drive-in cinema screen.

“We will have live actors on site with a daily visit from Santa, Daisy Cow and of course the Dame. Hopefully, this will allow families and friends to hold on to the great Christmas tradition of pantomime this season. With an investment of £40,000 this partnership with the arts and specifically cre8 theatre has created jobs for actors and technicians as well as eight full time jobs at the resort.”

Tickets for each pantomime show are priced at £45 per car.
