PIGEON CRAIC RESULT SITE

Can I take this opportunity to appeal to all clubs and club Press Officers (where appointed). The Pigeon Craic Result Site - www.pigeoncraic.com/results - will again be up and running for the new season ahead with a few changes, hopefully for the better and pleasing all that use it.

What do you need to do? For those appointed as club PO, if you are not registered from last season, register on site as Club Admin (only one club admin per club allowed). When approved feel free to post your club result plus any relevant information - where available - on your weekly club result. You can also post a picture or video of your club winner by attaching from wherever you have it stored ie. your computer, tablet or mobile phone. This action is very simple. You can also register as a club member to post comments or pictures also. It is also planned to have the weekly “A Bit Of Craic” column with all the results posted on site as well. This can be accessed under the “Weekly Reports” section. All information on the one site. For those who wish to not use the site, please submit your result plus any relevant text on the top winning fancier and birds to myself, as soon as possible after race, for publication in the fancy press.

Please feel free to send any photos that you wish to have published. You can send pictures by email or by picture message on mobile phone. As official press officer for the Ulster Federation & NIPA (Sections C, D, F & G ) I will endeavour to give maximum coverage through the fancy press and craic website to all Club, Section & Open Winners but your help is needed to make this a success.

CHARITY AUCTION - APPEAL

Everyone has been touched by the tragedy that happened at Buncrana pier in County Donegal which claimed the lives of Sean McGrotty 46, originally from the Creggan area, and his two children, Mark 12 and Evan James 8, plus Ruth Daniels, 57, and her teenage daughter, Jodie Lee Daniels 15. Sean flew in the Maiden City Club and City Of Derry Fed and his father Noel McGrotty, a life time fancier, currently flies in the Derry & Dist HPS. Pigeon Craic is to run an auction/auctions - hopefully one in Chimney and the other in the North West. I am appealing to all the fancy to support these events to help raise funds for Sean’s wife and baby. If you wish to donate a bird please contact me with your offer. The response has been fantastic to date. Many thanks.
