80 new jobs boost for AXA in Londonderry

Insurance business AXA has confirmed it is to create more than 80 new jobs in its customer contact centre in Londonderry.

The jobs located in the company’s premises in Springtown Business Park will service AXA customers throughout the island of Ireland supporting the company’s customer service, claims and sales operations.

AXA Insurance has been operating from the city since 2007 beginning with just 20 staff.

That has grown to the point where the firm now offers employment to more than 200 people and, following a review of the business processes, AXA decided in the interests of efficiency and customer service to consolidate more of its customer facing operations in the Derry Customer Contact Centre.

Full training, flexible shift patterns and a competitive salary will be offered.

These new opportunities confirm AXA’s commitment to this site said Colm Mc Grattan, executive director of sales and distributions.
