The third-generation family business, which has more than 60 years of experience manufacturing paving and building products, will work more closely with Hillsborough-headquartered Graham on future developments, focusing on quality, innovation and lower-carbon construction materials.

The agreement builds on the companies’ existing relationship, which has supported major developments in Northern Ireland, including Loftlines in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter and Nelson Place Student Roost.

Completed earlier this year, Loftlines is Northern Ireland’s largest build-to-rent development, while Nelson Place provides purpose-built student accommodation in Belfast city centre.

Under the agreement, AG will work with Graham’s project teams earlier in the design and specification process to identify products that meet architectural, technical and sustainability requirements.

Central to the deal is AG’s Woodward facing brick range, alongside its Classic and Heathfield collections.

Woodward was named Northern Ireland’s Most Responsible Product at the Business in the Community Responsible Business Awards 2025. Supported by independently verified Environmental Product Declarations, the range delivers almost 46% lower embodied carbon per square metre than an industry-standard clay facing brick.

Graham, which has a history spanning more than 250 years, delivers construction and civil engineering projects across sectors including residential, education, healthcare, commercial, transport and social infrastructure.

Rodney Davidson, sales director for Ireland at AG, said: “As a third-generation family business, AG has always believed that strong relationships are at the heart of successful projects. The partnerships we build with customers and construction partners are founded on trust, collaboration and a shared commitment to delivering quality.

“Our relationship with Graham has developed through working together on significant projects, and this agreement represents an exciting next step. It creates opportunities for our teams to collaborate even more closely, particularly as the industry continues to focus on delivering lower embodied carbon solutions.

“Innovation has always been central to AG, and we are proud that ranges such as Woodward can support contractors and developers in meeting sustainability objectives while maintaining the quality, durability and architectural finish expected from modern construction materials.”
