'An important first phase in our growth journey': Northern Ireland design and building remediation specialist secures £450,000 funding to drive expansion
Omagh-headquartered remediation specialist Anamore is backed by HSBC UK to expand leadership team and scale operations across Ireland and the UK as part of long-term growth strategy
Anamore, a design and building remediation specialist headquartered in Omagh and operating across Ireland and the UK, has secured a £450,000 funding package from HSBC UK to support the first phase of its long-term growth strategy.

The funding is being invested in expanding Anamore’s team, with senior hires across business development, marketing and PR, quantity surveying, and project management. These appointments are designed to build capacity and ensure the business is well positioned for its next phase of growth.
This will allow the business to plan confidently for the future and maintain operational excellence without disrupting day-to-day delivery.
Founded in 2014 by James McCallan and Anthony Marley, with a goal of making homes and buildings safe and sustainable for future generations, Anamore provides building remediation services across the UK and Ireland. The business operates on several national framework contracts and is a member of the Cladding Advisory Council, established following the Grenfell Tower fire.
James McCallan, co-founder of Anamore, said: “This funding marks an important first phase in our growth journey. HSBC UK took the time to truly understand our business, our purpose and our values, which was hugely important to us.
"From the outset, our focus has been on investing in the right people and creating an environment where communication, dedication and respect thrive. This investment enables us to strengthen our senior team and continue delivering high-quality remediation work across Ireland, the UK and beyond, while positioning the business for future international growth.”
Steven McCormick, relationship manager at HSBC UK, added: “We’re pleased to support Anamore as it strengthens its leadership team and builds capacity for growth. The business is addressing a critical need within the built environment sector, and we look forward to supporting James, Anthony and the wider team as they pursue larger contracts and expand their reach.”
Anamore works with a range of clients across Ireland and the UK and has ambitions to grow its presence internationally. This funding represents the first phase of a planned growth strategy, supporting the business as it continues to build expertise, innovate and invest in its people.
