New facilities include luxury en-suite bedrooms, lounges with rural views, a riverside café and hairdressing salon.

Heather Hamilton says: “Such has been the scope of the renovations that we have effectively created a new-build facility. We have worked closely with Ulster Bank to be able to create a modern home which can continue to provide high quality care to local people. Already, we have had a very positive response from all visitors, including those from the caring professions.”

Nigel Walsh, Director, Commercial Banking NI, Ulster Bank, said: “The health and care sector is an important priority for Ulster Bank, and we have significant funds available this year to lend to the industry.

“The Hamiltons are long-standing clients with a quality business, and we are pleased to support them with this important investment.”

The home was designed by Blackstaff Architects .
