Barista Bar is owned by Henderson Foodservice and is sold exclusively across the SPAR, EUROSPAR and ViVo store network in Northern Ireland.

The brand was launched in 2015 and opened 300 of its retail coffee sites in just two and a half years, with a further 30 sites launching before the end of the 2017.

To date, Henderson Foodservice has invested over £3million in the Barista Bar brand, a figure that is expected to rise as the brand continues to invest in new technology and equipment.

Working in partnership with United Coffee Company (UCC), careful attention has been paid to find the right machine for each Barista Bar unit, ensuring a barista-style coffee for customers every time.

Since the brand was first introduced to Northern Ireland in March 2015, Henderson Foodservice has opened, on average, nine new Barista Bar stations every month and offers consumers a complete, in-store coffee experience with full POS merchandising, treat bars and bespoke concepts, such as the new Christmas campaign.

“The success of the Barista Bar brand is based on three key factors: quality, taste and convenience,” said Mark Stewart-Maunder, business development director, Henderson Foodservice.

“We are thrilled to be on course to reach 10 million cup sales and to have a Barista Bar in 330 sites across Northern Ireland by the end of 2017.”
