An entry of 100 cull cows in Markethill 28th March continued to sell in a very firm trade.

Beef bred cows sold to top of £178 per 100 kilos for a 794k at £1,410.

Main demand from £130 to £164 per 100 kilos paid for 580k at £955.

Fleshed Friesian cows from £110 to £122 per 100 kilos and up to £895 for 740k at £120.

Second quality friesians from £90 to £105 per 100 kilos and thin cows from £60 to £80 per 100 kilos.
