Beef bred cows sell to £163 per 100 kilos at Markethill

An entry of 150 cull cows at Markethill on Tuesday 13th December continued to sell in a very strong demand.

Beef bred cows sold to £163 per 100 kilos for 700k Char at £1140.

Main demand from £130 to £156 per 100 kilos.

Fleshed Friesian cows sold to £119for 780k at £930.

All fleshed Friesians from £100 to E116 per 100 kilos. Second quality Friesians from £80 to £95 per 100 kilos and the poorest types from £50 to £75 per 100 kilos.
