Bridge Commercials Ltd celebrates 27 years of providing support for The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal

Hillsborough business Bridge Commercials Ltd, van hire and sales, is celebrating its 27th year providing support for The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.

Since 1998, Bridge Commercials Ltd has donated a van for use during The Salvation Army’s Family Appeal at Christmas campaign along with free maintenance.

The van, which is also branded, is used to collect much needed gifts for families at Christmas as part of the appeal.

New and unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at all Salvation Army churches and centres across Northern Ireland until December 19.

Look out for The Salvation Army ‘Be A Star’ donation banks located at the stores or donate online at https://www.justgiving.com/page/familyappeal2025.

Last year The Salvation Army’s Family Appeal at Christmas, along with other donors, helped over 2000 families across Northern Ireland.

The campaign mainly relies on the general public to ‘Be A Star’ and donate gifts, as well as the support of volunteers who work at The Salvation Army churches on arranged days.
