AES Global wins Queen’s award for International Trade

Cookstown-based Advanced Electronic Solutions ltd (AES Global) has won one of the highest accolades for businesses, The Queen’s Award for International Trade, for its outstanding long-term growth in overseas sales in the last six years.

AES Global specialise in manufacturing one of the world’s widest range of wireless intercoms and access control products for doors and gates, all of which are available for purchase through dealers in over 40 countries worldwide.

In the last six years, AES Global has seen a significant growth of almost 300%, with the USA predominately accounting for the largest export market.

Paul Creighton, CEO of AES Global has recognised the value of people in business and by using his expertise he has been able to help other local business leaders and entrepreneurs develop and succeed through tailored mentorship programmes.

Highlighting his delight at receiving the prestigious award and praising his team, Paul explained: “International Trading has been integral to the growth and success of AES Global so I am elated to have won The Queen’s Awards for International Trade 2021.

Now in its 55th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses being highlighted for outstanding achievement in International Trade by Her Royal Majesty, Queen of England.
