Caroline O’Neill, from DIGG for Success, was chosen from the winners of the five award categories at a live vote during the awards ceremony for her generosity of spirit as she raised over £100K for Cash for Kids and various other charities at Christmas time to ensure no child was without a gift on Christmas Day.

The Awards which are sponsored by Virgin Media Business, were developed to celebrate outstanding women from across all disciplines in Northern Ireland who have gone above and beyond to care, support, unite and inspire, with extraordinary acts of purpose, support, passion and kindness.

Roseann Kelly, Chief Executive at Women in Business said: “I would like to congratulate Caroline on her award, she is undoubtedly a worthy winner who has demonstrated great compassion and strength of character throughout her career, but particularly over the past year, which due to the Covid-19 pandemic has thrown up so many challenges. She rose to all these challenges and is an inspiration to us all.

“As I read through the nominations, I was humbled by what these amazing women have achieved. They have persevered through a period historically recognised as a once in a generation or indeed once in a century global event which has brought about radical change to daily life on an unprecedented scale. As a business network, I am delighted that Women in Business has evolved its traditional business awards to celebrate and encourage women to achieve success in the workplace, in their homes and in their roles as female business leaders and entrepreneurs.”
