Once established, the place brands will be used to support town centre recovery and the marketing of both towns by local stakeholders in the business, tourism, education and community sectors and the wider community as places to live, visit, work and invest.

Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Diana Armstrong, said: “The Council wants to create place brands for Enniskillen and Omagh which embrace and reflect each town’s unique spirit and characteristics and aspirations for the future.

“While we have undertaken significant engagement with local stakeholders from a range of settings, we are keen to capture the views of people from Enniskillen and Omagh who now live around the world on what makes their town special to them or what is it they love about it, to help shape the place brands for each town.

“We would love to hear from as many people as possible and I would encourage people to share the survey with friends and relatives who are from Enniskillen or Omagh but who live elsewhere.”

The online survey is available at www.fermanaghomagh.com until Friday , February 12.
