A Belfast first-class honours graduate in communication, advertising and marketing from Ulster University, Jen has over 13 years of experience in marketing and communications, including within the arts and tourism sectors.

Her career began as a media planner and buyer and then senior communications manager in a number of local advertising and communications agencies where she worked on a range of award-winning campaigns for local and global brands.

She then made the move to the arts sector as marketing manager of the Metropolitan Arts Centre (MAC) in Belfast. She later performed the role of commercial manager for the theatre. More recently she moved to Belfast City Council as marketing and brand manager, responsible for the rollout of city-wide campaigns and strategies.

Prior to joining the Belfast team at the Grand Opera House, she worked as communications manager with the local charity, Northern Ireland Hospice.
