Throughout the course of the two-year training contract, trainees will gain experience in a range of departments including corporate and commercial, banking and financial services, real estate and dispute resolution.

Chris Ross, managing partner of McKees, said: “It has been a testing time for students, particularly those who graduated last summer having faced the increased pressure of remote learning as well as the extraordinary exam conditions. However, we are encouraging young people to look to the future and the opportunities that are available to them in the legal sector.

“It’s very much a hands-on programme and the training and development of each individual is enhanced with regular internal training sessions and seminars involving the lawyers across all levels of our firm, from newly qualified solicitors to Senior Partners to ensure each trainee has access to some of the best legal minds in Northern Ireland,” Chris added.
