Delivered in partnership with Power NI, The Learn Grow Excel Training Academy will host a range of courses on topics including business performance, digital strategy and ecommerce, as well as an elite presenter programme, specifically for senior leaders.

Uniquely, each course will include one-to-one consultancy in addition to comprehensive online group learning. The sessions will be delivered by a range of subject matter experts including LEAN specialist Gareth Anderson from Pinnacle Professional, digital marketer and brand builder Ciaran Connolly from Profile Tree and well-known former broadcast journalist, Sarah Travers. Each course has been designed to meet training needs which have become significantly more important to businesses across Northern Ireland over the past 12 months.

Tanya Anderson, Head of International and Business Support at NI Chamber said: “The Training Academy represents an extension of our already very successful Learn Grow Excel business support programme, which is designed to support SME growth. The past year has presented businesses with enormous challenges and the new world of work has arrived much faster than expected. Businesses must respond quickly and address the additional training needs which exist as a result.

“The companies who performed best last year were agile and adapted quickly to change – that focus on business improvement should be embedded in every firm now. Our Business Improvement training has been developed to help companies reduce costs and operate more efficiently by implementing LEAN practices.

“Embedding digital skills is no longer optional – all organisations must equip their teams with the ability to develop and deliver strong digital marketing strategies, and for those companies involved in the transaction of goods, capitalising on the local and global opportunities that ecommerce presents will be critical to their sustainability and growth.

“Developing our senior leaders is really important right now and in response to direct requests, we have also launched the Elite Presenter Programme. This course has been tailored to the needs of executive leaders and will help them to grow their influence both internally and externally, online and in person.

The combination of NI Chamber’s extensive knowledge of business conditions and needs, alongside the expertise of our training partners make it a very worthwhile investment of time and resources which we hope many local businesses can benefit from.”

The courses, which begin on various dates in April 2021 are open for registration now. Reduced rates are available for NI Chamber members.
