SeeMeHired.com fuels growth with £300,000

Belfast-based applicant hiring software solution business SeeMeHired.com has closed a £300,000 funding round which will be used to fuel further growth of its business across the UK and Ireland.

SeeMeHired.com has secured the investment from private investors through the Halo Business Angel Network (HBAN) alongside funding from the Covid-19 Equity Investment Fund (CEIF) and Co-Fund NI, part of Invest Northern Ireland’s Access to Finance portfolio.

Commercially launched in March 2020, the SeeMeHired.com applicant hiring platform enables employers to recruit new staff in a streamlined, compliant and time-saving manner using a cloud-based platform that fully automates the sourcing, engagement, selection and hiring of job candidates.

It serves all industries regardless of size and it is already working with well-known brands such as Grant Thornton (NI), Firmus Energy, Tobermore, IOA, Bloc Blinds, Morrow Contracts, Blk Box, S&W Wholesale, Bathshack and Hastings Hotels, with 25 new customers signing up since the start of the year.

The business is backed by four local private investors including recruitment expert Gary Irvine, who is also acting as interim Chief Executive.

SeeMeHired.com has a number of innovative features, including a built-in diversity enabler to remove unconscious bias from the shortlisting process, a fully integrated video interviewing and management tool that ensures compliance and consistency across the selection process and a job distribution tool that enables employers to advertise and manage their vacancies across a wide range of sourcing channels anywhere in the world such as job boards, social media and recruitment agencies. SeeMeHired.com provides real-time tracking information throughout the hiring process to both the employer and job applicant.

HBAN is a joint initiative of Invest NI, InterTradeIreland and Enterprise Ireland, dedicated to the all island promotion of business angel investment. HBAN allows companies to pitch to angel investors for funding. Currently there are over 100 registered members in Northern Ireland.

CEIF is a £5m fund that was launched by Invest NI as part of its Access to Finance portfolio.

It helps qualifying early stage high-growth potential businesses in Northern Ireland access financing to progress their business plans and prepare for recovery from the effects of the pandemic and future growth.

Co-Fund NI is part of Invest NI’s Access to Finance portfolio and part funded by European Regional Development Fund under the EU Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme 2014-2020. Clarendon Fund Managers manages Co-Fund NI.
