This virtual half-day event will take place from 9.30am- 12.30pm and aims to shine a light on global leaders and hear their perspectives on effective leadership. The conference will welcome a host of speakers that demonstrate leadership at the highest-level including Sharon Thorne, Global Board Chair of Deloitte; Alyse Nelson, President and CEO of Vital Voices Global Partnership; Norah Casey, award-winning businesswoman and broadcaster. The only two female CEO’s featured in the Top 100 business list in Northern Ireland Elaine Birchall, CEO, SHS Group and Sara Venning, CEO, NI Water, will also be presenting.

Roseann Kelly, CEO of Women in Business believes that the conference will have a wide appeal: “The effectiveness of female leaders in handling the COVID-19 crisis is widely recognised as being overwhelmingly positive, with evidence showing that outcomes are systematically better in countries led by women. Through our partnership with InterTradeIreland, we are excited about exploring the characteristics of a true leader, learning from inspiring female trailblazers while encouraging businesswomen across the country to continue to make a difference in the workplace.”
