Copa and Cogeca offer condolences to victims of Brussels terrorist attacks

Copa and Cogeca have offered sincere condolences to all those that were killed or injured in the Brussels terrorist attacks today and say they will stand united in Europe against these attacks.

Copa and Cogeca Secretary-General Pekka Pesonen said: “We are deeply shocked by these unjust and inhumane actions. We will continue to fight for a democratic Europe and for a better future for European agriculture.

“Many have been declared dead or injured today at the bomb blasts at Zaventum airport and Maelbeek metro station which is right by our offices by terrorists and we offer our since condolences with the innocent victims and their families. We are grateful that we are all safe at Copa and Cogeca and want to thank all for their concerned messages. We also offer our support to the police in their work to track down these unlawful terrorists and ensure Europe is a safer place.”
