The Los Angeles based firm aims to provide a positive boost to the local economy through showing that even in the wake of the Brexit vote, US companies remain very much open to doing business on this side of the Atlantic.

The ‘Dream Builder’ programme aims to create joint economic development opportunities, job creation and lasting economic impact.

The program will achieve this through bringing entrepreneurs together, from around the world, and giving them access to the best resources, training, experience and global market access available. The program will also invest directly in the development of local start-up ecosystems.

Gaining access to the programme will yield a monetary value of over £150k.

“For any Ireland or UK based company looking to make their mark in America, this programme is ideal,” said Wonka Lab MD Michael Murphy.

“We will help start-ups to unlock market potential and grow their business. We believe this programme is one of a kind and presents a massive opportunity.

To add another twist to this initiative, the series will play out on-camera in collaboration with renowned Hollywood director Kevin Kerslake and will be hosted by ‘The Start-up Van’ founders Graham Hussey and Mark McDonagh.

The 30 day filming experience will provide exceptional exposure for both start-ups and partners due to the volume of reach as a result of the film.

“Dream Builder not only harnesses the power of television, the internet, and social media to showcase its efforts but invests a global audience in the plight of each start-up,” said Mr Kerslake.
