'Delivering exceptional results for the communities they serve': Northern Ireland software firm wins major UK housing deal to support services across 6,000 homes
Community Housing selects Belfast’s Totalmobile platform to modernise repairs and maintenance operations
Community Housing UK has chosen Belfast software firm Totalmobile and its Field First platform to modernise the delivery of property services, a move which is projected to deliver net savings of more than £750,000 over the next five years. The new platform will support repair and maintenance activities across Community Housing’s portfolio of over 6,000 homes, with 70 operatives expected to use the system at go-live in March 2026.

It will support closer collaboration between planners, operatives, and subcontractors by bringing scheduling, job progress, and performance reporting into a single, real-time view, reducing reliance on manual processes, boosting in-house productivity, and strengthening auditability across its property services.

“Our previous systems limited how efficiently teams could plan and manage work,” said Phill Heales, head of Property Care at Community Housing.
“Totalmobile gives us a truly modern platform that allows real-time working, better scheduling, and stronger performance management. These improvements mean that our residents will experience faster fixes, improved communication on repairs, and fewer callbacks. It’s a practical step that helps us improve customer relationships, reduce costs, and future-proof our repair service.” David Webb, managing director of Housing at Totalmobile explained: “What we’re seeing at Community Housing reflects a much bigger shift across housing and facilities management.
“Organisations across the country are facing mounting pressure to maximise the efficiency of their existing teams while maintaining compliance and service quality.
"At Totalmobile, our focus is on empowering organisations and front-line teams through our platform so they can concentrate on what truly matters - delivering exceptional results for the communities they serve.”
For Totalmobile, the partnership reflects continued demand across housing and facilities management for unified workforce platforms that support complex frontline operations.
