‘Diary Angel’ was designed and founded by Ballygowan based tech developer, Dean Walker.

With Covid-19 necessitating many workers to be placed on furlough, a large number of businesses are still unable to operate as normal in terms of service delivery.

However Diary Angel syncs seamlessly with SME’s Facebook business pages and is ideal for local based hairdressers, beauticians and other appointment based service providers who are seeking to attract bookings, however, don’t yet have a full complement of staff to manage demand at the moment.

Diary Angel founder and Managing Director Dean Walker commented on the launch of the platform highlighting that it was designed to help businesses return to work after lockdown.

He explained: “Diary Angel has been designed to digitally support local businesses who are returning to provide their services to the public.

“The last three months have been extremely challenging, and it looks like the next three will also be even more challenging.

“Diary Angel will make their return more efficient and cost-effective through its easy to use integrated design.”

Through Diary Angel, a simple call to action button will be added to a business Facebook page.

This then provides clients with access to their online diary 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Dean continued: “Our service allows businesses to start booking customers before, during and after they reopen and reduces the time they’ll spend on the phone when they do open their doors.

“All customers will have ‪24/7 access to your booking availability without having to speak to you or even make a call.”

He added: “Diary Angel is exceptionally easy to use and was designed with people who aren’t confident IT users in mind. There is no training needed and no need to install anything. Everything done online with free, onsite support.”
