Dunbia launches new graduate programme

Leading Agri-Food company, Dunbia has launched a new graduate programme for 2016.

The new programme offers a two-year structured training and development programme which will give graduates experience across all aspects of the company’s operations.

Launching the programme, Mr Steve Beck, Dunbia HR Director commented: “Dunbia has invested heavily in developing our new ONE360 Graduate Programme which aims to give successful candidates practical commercial experience across our company with ongoing mentoring and support, management development training and industry-recognised qualifications. We want to attract the best talent to our ONE360 Graduate Programme and develop them to become our managers of the future. We have also developed a dedicated graduate website, www.dunbiagraduates.com to allow candidates on the ONE360 programme to share their experiences and provide more information on the programme.”

Dunbia is one of the UK’s largest meat processors, with 11 sites across the UK and Ireland employing 4,000 people and an annual turnover of £830m. The company, which trades in 36 countries worldwide, has over 22,000 primary producers and supplies many of Europe’s largest retailers.

Speaking at the launch, Dunbia Executive Director, Jack Dobson added: “Dunbia’s ONE360 programme gives graduates an excellent opportunity to begin and grow a career in the agri-food industry which is worth £100bn to the UK economy. The opportunities within Dunbia are immense in areas which include Production, New Product Development, Procurement and Agri Research, IT, Finance, Sales. Following the two year programme, graduates will continue to develop and progress a long-term careers in the discipline most suited to their skills which will be identified through the ONE360 programme.”

Dunbia is listed in the Sunday Times Top 100 companies and is led by Group Chief Executive Jim Dobson who was named UK Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors in 2014 and Executive Director Jack Dobson who won the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015.

The Application process for the ONE360 Graduate Programme is now open with a closing date of 14th February.
