Firm launches industry first palletised freight product for home deliveries

The new Pallets to Consumers (P2C) service aims to improve the efficiency of deliveries and is for companies who specifically sell their products to end customers and require a reliable delivery partner to deliver to residential addresses. These companies can integrate their systems and website with Palletways’ platforms to offer a seamless service and provide their customers with a set of delivery options that provides flexibility, choice and enhances their delivery experience.

One of the main benefits of P2C that offers this flexibility and choice is the new industry first digital book-in platform. As soon as their pallet arrives at the delivery depot, every recipient who has booked a standard economy service will be informed via email and SMS when to expect their delivery. With this notification they will be provided with a link that offers them the option to change their delivery timeframe and date if they won’t be available for the original book-in. The fact they can do this via the platform after receiving the notification provides them with more convenience and choice than has ever been offered before from the palletised freight industry.
