Foster praises contribution of women in business
More than 200 business women attended the event hosted by the body which seeks to promote entrepreneurship and provides networking opportunities for women to promote and grow their business.
“It is an honour to be here today to address the first Women in Business Chairs’ Lunch,” said Mrs Foster.

“Northern Ireland’s business women have a reputation for a hard work ethos and are a strong voice for success both locally, and in the global marketplace.”
Programmes such as the Regional Start Initiative, along with support from Invest NI and Access to Finance programmes, she said, ensured that advice and help was available for anyone who wanted to start their own business.
“I pay tribute to Women in Business for the role they play in inspiring women to realise their full potential.
