Good show for Budore Blondes

Balmoral 2016 turned into the McGarrys' '˜Budore Blondes' show with their stylish junior heifer Lollypop taking the junior championship from a very strong class of ten heifers, female championship and the overall championship.

She is a March 15 heifer by Aneto and the famous show cow Garnet.

Judge Dye Clark of Carluke, Lanarkshire also had an eye for her stablemate, as Budore Liza was reserve champion. Liza is a Jan 15 heifer by Budore Floyd and Budore Eva.

Budore Jessie won the senior heifer class.

A special mention to the Griffin family as their cow Drumraymond Hidi Ho won the senior cow class and their bull, Limited won the junior bull class. The Drumraymond duo went on to take the pairs class.

The McElroy family’s intermediate heifer, Ivaniskey Juilet won a strong class of intermediate heifers.

A huge well done to all the exhibitors, especially those showing for the first time, Scott Davidson and Gary McClelland.

Also a big thank-you to the Blonde sponsors ABP, the Blonde Society and Oddball Engineering for the sashes and Bo Davidson for the photographs and all the organisers, stewards and backroom staff at Balmoral.
