Based in Castlewellan, Co. Down, Green Energy Wind work with investors and consumers to provide renewable energy across the globe.

As General Manager Owen Flynn explains: “We are able to provide the full service, or enter at any stage, from consultancy to civil work, and from erecting the turbine to servicing it.

“One present dilemma some other turbine sites owners have found is that some sites have come to a standstill maybe due to finance issues and unfortunately are not going to give a return for the money they have already invested.

“We can offer our clients a range of customised solutions and individual support structures that are ideally suited to projects like yours that can be rapidly put in place to enable you to complete your installation and secure the earliest possible return on your investment. We are locally based and understand the needs of our clients. This is one of the reasons why our business has developed.”

Two years ago the company expanded considerably, growing from 16 employees to 47 in its team today.

Green Energy Wind Ltd has consolidated its global presence as a company, competing against international wind turbine companies and often proving to be more competitive, winning contracts to build and service turbines across the UK and Ireland, South America and USA.

Mr Flynn continued: “Our large stock inventory, local and international workforce, and years of experience enables us to price our services competitively and respond to any servicing requirements swiftly.”
