The hotel, which this year marks its 30th anniversary, has also revealed plans for a major multi-phased refurbishment programme and re-brand underpinned by “significant” investment.

General Manager Suzi McIlhatton said this year would mark the beginning of a new era for the boutique hotel which has been in business since 1991 and is now in the hands of a new senior management team of herself and Operations Manager, Chris Kilpatrick.

“The owners recently disposed of a number of our apartments to focus on delivering a best-in-class hospitality experience,” she said.

“We have big plans to rejuvenate the whole business from top to bottom. We have been conscious for some time of the need to re-position our offering and update our brand.
