IT services firm Ammeon set to create 60 jobs at Belfast centre

An IT professional services company headquartered in the Irish Republic is to create 60 new jobs in the province with the establishment of a service delivery centre in Belfast.

Ammeon Ltd offers DevOps, Cloud and Automation services to major customers across a wide range of sectors including financial services, telecommunications, automotive, transportation and government organisations.

“This sizable investment by Ammeon reinforces the calibre of skilled IT resources available in Northern Ireland and our reputation for world class expertise in software development,” said Invest Northern Ireland chief executive Alastair Hamilton.

“The 60 new roles, to be recruited by 2019, will generate £3.5million annually in additional salaries to the local economy.

“Ammeon’s new Belfast centre will help drive the development of its Cloud and Automation service offerings and complement the work of existing companies in Northern Ireland’s IT sector.”

Invest Northern Ireland has offered £600,000 to support the creation of the 60 new professional and IT jobs, which will have average salaries of over £50,000.

Ammeon is looking for experienced engineers, consultants and new graduates to join their new software engineering and consulting division.

Fourteen of the positions are already in place.
