Lisburn based McQuillan Companies Ltd announces acquisition of Wallace Contracts (NI) Ltd.
County Antrim family business, McQuillan Companies has this week acquired Bangor based contracting business, Wallace Contracts, in a deal which will further strengthen the company business portfolio, across Ireland and Great Britain. Wallace Contracts, which was established nearly 40 years ago by Graeme and Grace Wallace, is a well-known and respected contracting and facilities management business, working across a number of key areas including insurance repairs, landscaping, winter maintenance, emergency response, building & general maintenance in corporate, business and public sectors.
As a result of this announcement, Wallace Contracts will now become part of McQuillan Companies portfolio. As part of the acquisition, Graeme and Grace Wallace, and their team of 40 staff will transition into the McQuillan Companies family business, strengthening the current offering provided by the company across civil engineering, demolition, quarrying, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, outdoor cleaning, winter maintenance and analytical laboratory services.
