The company, which began life installing television aerials almost 25 years ago, has begun its new financial year with a multi-million-pound order book and is poised for its best ever trading year.

It designs and installs bespoke building technology that integrates building information systems within the fabric of a building.

“Our systems provide our clients with amazing experiences every day, whether it’s by creating the perfect dramatic lighting scene in the kitchen for entertaining friends, the perfect temperature in the master bedroom, an emotional connection to the music playing in the living space or by transforming a standard room into a fully immersive theatre at the touch of a button,” said founder and managing director Philip Dowds.

Clear AV is unique within its niche sector in having a state-of-the-art design lab and mirror build facility where every project is literally ‘mirror built’ and rigorously tested in a controlled offsite environment.

“Our approach has been welcomed from contractors and developers too because our ‘on-time’ guarantee means they can meet tighter deadlines and have their buildings ready for market much faster than would be the case if they were working with one of our competitors,” he said.

“What’s more, our fast-track approach can help them avoid facing penalties from delays.”

The firm expects to create the new jobs by 2020 as Clear AV sets about expanding its activities in London.

“We’re a hungry, ambitious and driven team who have been fortunate to work on some of the most prestigious commercial and residential projects in London – especially over the past three years or so,” added Mr Dowds.
