The new Ormeau Road branch will expand the independent firm's south Belfast presence, bringing its network to six offices and its workforce to more than 40
Northern Ireland estate agency John Minnis is continuing its expansion with the opening of a new office on Ormeau Road in south Belfast, expected in mid-to-late November.
The new branch will bring the company’s total number of offices to six, marking another milestone for the independent estate agency following its 20th anniversary celebrations last year.
The business now employs more than 40 staff, with further growth anticipated.
Founded in 2005 with its first office in Holywood, Co Down, John Minnis has expanded over the past two decades, establishing a presence across Belfast, Holywood, Bangor, Donaghadee and Comber.
The decision to open on Ormeau Road will give the company a base in south Belfast, an area known for its independent businesses, residential neighbourhoods and strong community.
Ormeau Road was also named runner-up in The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Live feature.
The new office will share its premises with the company’s mortgage partner, Mortgage IQ, with the aim of providing customers with a more joined-up service when buying a property.

The opening follows the company’s recent shortlisting in six categories at the 2026 Negotiator Property Awards.
