More than 13,500 visitors are expected to attend the three-day conference, which is described as Europe’s largest and most comprehensive information security conference programme.

“The cyber security sector is constantly evolving in response to ever-growing risk and has gained an immeasurable prominence over recent years.

“However, recent research undertaken by the Institute of Directors and Barclays revealed there are still gaping holes in many companies’ cyber security plans. One of the main findings suggested that 94% of firms believe IT security is important but only 56% have a strategy in place to deal with cyber attacks.

MetaCompliance is a recognised leader for staff awareness, policy governance and risk management in privacy, cyber security and compliance. It has more than 40 staff in Londonderry with offices in London, Birmingham and Dublin and plans to open in the US and Germany.
