Muckamore WI keep good company

Muckamore WI President Elizabeth Gray welcomed members to the September meeting.

Kerrie Smith from The Good Little Company was the speaker for the evening and she spoke about their products. The GOOD LITTLE COMPANY commodities are made with prime cuts of outdoor bred British pork. They don’t contain any added fat or nasty artificial colours. And they are gluten free. They also make chicken chipolatas. The Good Little Company give 50% of their profit to the charity Christian Aid. Members were each given a packet of pork sausages to take home. Margaret Bent proposed the vote of thanks to Kerrie.

Elizabeth congratulated Margaret Torrens on being awarded the MBE for Voluntary Services to the community in Antrim and thanked Margaret for all her loyalty and dedication to the W.I. over many years and the many other organisations that she has been involved with.

Birthday girls for July, August and September were Dorothy Coulter, Maisie Clyde and Hazel Coates. Mary Taylor won the monthly competition “An unusual tea towel”.
