NI breeder dominates Salers ring
Judging was in the skilled hands of Neil Barclay, Harestone, Aberdeenshire who made swift work of placing an outstanding entry of Salers cattle.

Hide AdTaking the breed Championship back to Northern Ireland was the three year old young cow “Drumlegagh Galaxy”, who was also top of the judging honours at the recent Balmoral Show.
This was just the start for the Elliott family who also secured the Reserve Championship with their young bull “Drumlegagh Hamish”. Not to be outdone the youngest member of the show team “Drumlegagh Kyra” was placed Reserve Female and Reserve Junior Champion.
This is a tremendous achievement for John Elliott and family, made extra special by the fact that all cattle were bred by themselves.
