Niavac aims for international award

With entries from countries all over the world, the local firm is the only AV firm from the island of Ireland selected as a finalist in the highly competitive Best Corporate Project category.

Niavac’s entry focused on their delivery of extensive bespoke AV solutions including a unique, state-of-the-art video wall for American tech company Cayan in its sci-fi headquarters located in Belfast City Quay 1.

The work was duly selected by judges from across the AV industry in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The overall winner will be revealed at the InAVation gala dinner tonight in Amsterdam.

“We are extremely proud to have been recognised at an international level,” said managing director James Conlon, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry.

“Niavac has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and being shortlisted for this prestigious award tops it all off.

“I would like to thank each and every member of our team as our recent success would not be possible without their hard work.”

The Cayan project included the design, coordination and installation of a huge range of equipment.

With the global audio visual market predicted to be worth between $171.1bn to $183bn by 2020 1 , driven by a growth of conferencing, AV acquisition and streaming media, the firm which was founded in 1958, is determined to develop the business further.
