Novosco has secured business worth more than £500,000 with three of Northern Ireland's most innovative exporters.

The IT infrastructure company, which is headquartered in the NI Science Park, has won work with CDE Global, TG Eakin, and Leckey.

Novosco provides managed cloud services to a wide range of public, private and voluntary sector organisations, and has been brought in by the firms to review and upgrade their IT systems.

The firm already works for around 60 percent of Northern Ireland’s top 100 companies, as well as health trusts, housing associations, educational establishments and other organisations across the UK and Ireland.

“These are amongst Northern Ireland’s most innovative companies, with fast-growing export businesses and expanding teams,” said managing director Patrick McAliskey.

“IT plays a key role in their success and we are helping them ensure their systems are robust, dynamic and agile as they continue to grow.

“For instance, our work for TG Eakin will provide their staff with a remote access solution that will enable them to work anywhere in the world via an encrypted connection, delivering a desktop environment from their datacentre.

With Leckey, he said the firm had deployed a new “virtualised infrastructure” making the business more agile and flexible in providing core services to its users, partners and customers.

Based in Comber, TG Eakin manufactures medical equipment and exports to more than 30 countries.

Leckey, which has its headquarters in Lisburn, employs some 100 people and is a globally recognised pioneer in the research, design and development of products for postural support.

Cookstown-based CDE Global supplies washing equipment for quarries and mines on the global market and has offices in India, Brazil and the US.

Novosco has been in business for more than 20 years and now employs more than 120 people.
