Perfect conditions for Ballynahinch event

Ballynahinch Vintage Club held their annual ploughing match in Crossgar last Saturday.

Bright sunshine greeted a very good turnout of competitors taking part in both tractor and horse classes.

William Gill (Listooder Ploughing Society) took the Championship of the Field. In the Intermediate Class, Peter Allen (Donacloney) took another impressive class win while in the Classic Class, Jackie Moore took the top spot. There was an impressive performance from Jack Moore (Ballyblack) to win the novice class. In the horse classes, Lindsay Hanna (Listooder) was victorious while John Weir (Ballyclare) took the Style and Appearance class.
