Police appeal make farm thefts appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of two thefts from farms on the Lisnahunshin Road in Cullybackey and the Skerdan Road in Portglenone.

Constable Allen said: “It was reported that sometime between the hours of 11.00pm on Monday 10th October and 7.00am on Tuesday 11th October, a green Isuzu Trooper was stolen from a farm on the Skerdan Road. A Nugent double axel cattle trailer was then stolen from a farm on the Lisnahunshin Road in the area of Cullybackey. It is believed the jeep from the first theft was used to pull the trailer from the second incident.”
