There is no need to pre-register for these events. Farmers and growers can go to the venue that is most suitable for them.

The road shows will provide an opportunity for farmers and growers to hear more about the FBIS - Capital Scheme. Presentations throughout the day will cover the key features of the scheme. There will also be an opportunity for applicants to ask questions about the scheme and talk to DAERA staff.

It is not compulsory to attend the road shows in order to make an application to the FBIS Capital Scheme. However, attendance will help to equip farmers and growers with the information they need to consider which Tier of the scheme, if any, is most suitable to their business needs and also what they need to do next.

Completed applications for FBIS-Capital Tier 1 are to be submitted by 4pm on Friday 16 December 2016. Completed applications for FBIS-Capital Tier 2 are to be submitted from Monday 19 December 2016 to 4pm on Friday 24 February 2017.

The FBIS-Capital Scheme is not a first-come, first-served scheme, and applicants who submit an online application will receive extra marks.
