See.Sense wins UK '˜economic disruptor' award
The awards are designed to celebrate the most creative entrepreneurs in the UK whose businesses have the potential to scale. Over 100 nominations were reviewed by a panel, of leading industry judges.
They praised the Newtownards firm for bringing together digital and data technology to make everyday life “safer and smoother”.

With the light capable of finding potholes before they develop and identifying more dangerous for cyclists it they described it as “a truly cost-effective disruptor”.
See.Sense co-founder Irene McAleese said the firm was thrilled.
“It underscores how See.Sense is disrupting the market for cycling safety and cycling data, and how we’re making journeys better for everyone”. The award follows See.Sense being named as the official bike light supplier, and official crowdsourced data and insight supplier, to UK body British Cycling.
