Simple Power backs Unsung Hero award

Leading Northern Ireland wind energy company, Simple Power, is proud to once again sponsor the Unsung Hero Award in the Farming Life and Danske Bank Awards 2016.

The local wind energy company works in partnership with farmers and landowners across Northern Ireland to harvest wind energy and generate renewable energy.

Simple Power Chief Executive Philip Rainey commented: “We are delighted to be supporting The Farming Life and Danske Bank Awards and The Unsung Hero category for the fourth year running.

“We believe the awards are an excellent opportunity to recognise, reward and honour the many talented people within the farming industry with whom we work so closely.  The Unsung Hero Award is important to us as it shines a much-needed spotlight on individuals whose exceptional efforts are helping to make Northern Ireland’s farming community what it is today, and we would encourage rural families to enter an unsung hero in their community.”

Simple Power have been supporters of the Farming Life and Danske Bank Awards for a number of years and editor Ruth Rodgers is delighted that the relationships is continuing.

Simple Power recently celebrated the three year anniversary of their highly successful partnership with farming charity Rural Support to help deliver its much-needed support service to farming and rural communities throughout Northern Ireland by providing financial support and participating in joint fundraising and awareness building activities throughout the farming calendar.
