Spirits high at Keady Mart, with record prices paid
Spirits were high in Keady last Friday, where some record prices were paid for cattle.
There was an excellent display of cattle on offer with all the usual buyers and some new buyers in attendance.
Heifers sold to £1,565 for a 820kg Charolais, while another sold at £1,540 for 845kg.
460kg store bullock sold at £1,145, an incredible £248.90 per 100kg.
Light weanlings made £580 for 200kg and £595 for 215kg.
