Tech skills training places for graduates in north west

Graduates in IT disciplines are being invited to apply for 20 pre-employment training places with Alchemy Technology Services in the north west.

Anyone completing the five-week industry-relevant Assured Skills Academy course will be guaranteed an interview for a technical analyst or business analyst role at Alchemy.

Places are open to those with a bachelor’s or master’s degree or a Level 5 qualification in IT-related disciplines and the training will take place at North West Regional College (NWRC).

Economy minister Diane Dodds said the Assured Skills Academies are “playing a key role in helping people to reskill and upskill during the economic recovery,” and added: “This Academy will see people train in the area of insurance software and receive industry-recognised qualifications that place them strongly for a career in a dynamic marketplace.”

Business Skills Manager at NWRC Sinead Hawkins said: “We are delighted to be delivering this academy in partnership with Alchemy and fully funded by the Department for the Economy. Alchemy continues to show their commitment to the north west region in providing high quality jobs. This a fantastic opportunity for this region to kick-start individual careers.”
