Lisney Belfast, which was first established in 1974, will officially adopt the new identity from 1 June 2026 as it begins operating independently from the Lisney brand.

The Belfast city centre-based firm said the move marks a significant new chapter in its evolution and reflects ambitions to strengthen its position within the Northern Ireland commercial real estate market.

Managing director Gareth Johnston will continue to lead the business alongside directors David McNellis, Ciaran O’Kane and John Coyle.

Mr Johnston said the rebrand follows recent investment in both staff and technology as the consultancy looks to expand its service offering across the commercial property sector.

He explained: “This move reflects our ambition to strengthen our positioning while expanding our service offering across the commercial property market. We have recently strengthened our team and made significant investments in technology, and this is a natural progression for the company.

"Ambit CRE is more than a change of name, our new brand identity reflects our modern, innovative approach and our focus on delivering tailored solutions that add value for clients.”

The team behind Ambit CRE has been active recently selling several of Belfast’s highest profile urban regeneration opportunities, including 148,000 sq. ft. Clarence Court, 35,000 sq. ft. Harvester House, 13,000 sq. ft. Fermanagh House and 23,000 sq. ft. Victoria Hall.

Gareth added: “While we are proud of our heritage, the team is excited about the opportunities ahead. Our clients will continue to work with the same trusted advisors, with the independence and flexibility to respond quickly to market opportunities.

“Clients, suppliers and external partners have been informed. While it is business as usual, we look forward to introducing our new brand identity externally in the coming weeks .”
