Top price of £85 for 27.5k for sheep at Rathfriland
Steady trade for sheep. Very little change in lamb prices for the last month of the year.
On Tuesday night a top price of £85 for 27.5k for an Ardarragh farmer. Newry farmer sold 26.4k at £84, Ballynahinch farmer for 2 lots 27k at £84, Kilkeel farmer 26k £83.50, Crossmaglen, Dromore and Newry farmers 25k £82.
Fat ewes sold to £72 twice for Hilltown and Newry farmers. Other £72, £68 and £67 all for Hilltown farmers.
