UUP praise fordairy showcase

Upper Bann Ulster Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson has praised the organisers and exhibiters of this year's 31st annual Royal Ulster Winter Fair held at Balmoral Park, Lisburn.

Commenting following her attendance at the Fair Mrs Dobson said: “Every year the Winter Fair gets bigger and better and this year was no exception.

“I was delighted to get the opportunity to chat with so many farmers from across Northern Ireland and, of course, many visitors.

“Farmers are the lifeblood of rural communities and events like the Winter Fair provide a wonderful showcase of the quality products our local farmers have to offer as well as a chance to share experiences and plan for the future.

“I send my congratulations to all those involved in both setting up the event as well as those exhibiting and taking part.”
