“The new site design represents a major step forward in terms of the information available on all the bulls featured, the range of technical services that we supply and the opportunity for dairy and beef producers to order semen courtesy of a bespoke email service,” explained company breeding services’ manager Ivan Minford.

“Where dairy bulls are concerned, the information available on sires will be updated in line with the various AHDB Dairy proof runs. And the same principle also holds with regard to all our beef sires. Information will be updated almost in real time.”

With regard to bull selection, visitors to the site can assess dairy sires on the basis of specific traits, from production and type through to management and health traits.

“Again this represents a major step forward in terms of what Ai Services was previously offering on the web and its relevance to milk producers,” said Minford

Ai Services provides a range of additional services to customers. These include an insemination service, delivered by highly trained and experienced technicians, ET programmes and a liquid nitrogen supply services. The new website features all relevant information on these commercial activities.

“The new site will also feature a regularly updated news page, featuring our bulls and the range of services we provide,” Minford added.

Paul Rainey is one of the Ai Services’ team that has worked on the development of the new web site. He confirmed that, in tandem with Ai Services’ new digital offering, the company will be producing regular dairy and beef newsletters.

“These will be emailed to those who register accordingly on the new site,” he said. “The registration process is extremely straightforward. And to encourage as many farmers as possible to sign up for the newsletters over the coming weeks, we are offering them the chance to win an Apple Mini iPad 4.
