Susan Dunlop, managing director at GMcG, said: “We are excited to be the first Northern Ireland firm to join the Group and it provides us with an incredible opportunity to expand our range of services and deepen our expertise in the ever-evolving world of accountancy and taxation.

“It was a decision based firmly on the knowledge that TC Group’s shared values, with emphasis on proactive personal service and client care, align seamlessly with our own. The shared support and expertise across the Group will allow us to grow and enhance our services, while continuing to operate as the same client-focused and locally managed team that our clients have come to know and trust.

“Importantly, the partnership is also about building on GMcG’s strengths and enabling the creation of additional opportunities for our people and clients, and supporting the firm’s continued success for many years to come.”

With more than 100 employees across its Belfast, Lisburn and Portadown offices, GMcG is well positioned to build on its success as part of TC Group while preserving the trusted values and traditions that have underpinned the firm for generations.

TC Group’s chief growth officer, Shiv Shah, added: “We are incredibly proud to welcome GMcG as TC Group’s first partner firm in Northern Ireland.

“GMcG is an outstanding business, built over many years through the commitment of its people and the trust of its clients. What became clear throughout our conversations was how closely our values align. We share a belief that long-term success comes from investing in people, remaining close to clients and preserving the relationships and local leadership that make a firm distinctive.

“It is a genuine privilege to have been entrusted with supporting the next chapter of the business under Susan’s and her fellow partners’ leadership.”
