'We know you’re excited, and we are too!': Sephora UK to open in Belfast tomorrow...here's everything you need to know
The beauty giant’s first island of Ireland store opens at Victoria Square bringing a 2,550 sq ft beauty playground to Belfast city centre
The countdown is over: Sephora UK will open its first store on the island of Ireland tomorrow (Thursday) at Victoria Square, Belfast.
The 2,550 sq ft beauty playground marks the brand’s 13th UK store and its first of 2026.
Since launching its first UK store in 2023, Sephora UK openings have become highly anticipated events, combining shopping with entertainment, curated queues, local talent, and treats from Belfast favourites. The ‘Pure Beaut’ grand opening continues this tradition, offering fans a full weekend of celebrations.
The store officially opens at 1pm, but beauty enthusiasts can join the queue from 11am to enjoy music, coffees from Neighbourhood, and surprise giveaways from Sephora’s favourite brands. Anyone making a purchase from tomorrow through to Sunday, February 15 will receive a Beauty Bonus Card, giving them a chance to win prizes including full-size products, discounts, Sephora merch, and coveted goodie bags. This replaces the traditional first-in-line model, giving all shoppers an equal chance to win.
Sephora Belfast will feature cult favourites and exclusive brands, including Sephora Collection, rhode, Haus Labs, Merit Beauty, and TikTok-viral sensations such as Tatcha, Glossier, Glow Recipe, Rare Beauty, Sol de Janeiro, and Kosas. The store also offers personalised beauty consultations, gift wrap, engraving services, and access to the MySephora loyalty programme, rewarding customers with points, exclusive products, early releases, and seasonal offers.
Commenting on the opening, Sarah Boyd, managing director of Sephora UK, said: “We are so excited for our first opening of 2026 in Belfast.

"This opening will mark another first for Sephora UK – our first store on the island of Ireland, located at Belfast’s Victoria Square.
"We’re truly committed to living up to our name of Sephora UK by bringing our beauty playgrounds to all corners of the nation. Belfast is a city filled with important history, areas of outstanding natural beauty and we cannot wait to become a part of the local community.”
The launch reinforces Sephora UK’s expansion strategy. After opening five stores across the UK in 2025, including Liverpool ONE, Manchester Arndale, and Cardiff St David’s, the retailer aims to have 20 locations by the end of 2026, with Bristol’s Cabot Circus set to open later this spring.
Julie King, Senior Asset Manager at Commerz Real, added: “Sephora’s arrival is a milestone for Victoria Square, reinforcing Belfast’s status as a major retail destination and bringing premium, experiential retail to the city.”
